Hi, welcome to Mohlalart Blog. This blog is inspired by the Mohlala’s, a small family that is inspired by fashion, art and music. In 2017 I met my significant other, Amogelang Mohlala and being with him has been such an enlightening journey. He has opened my eyes, ears and heart to life in a creative space. Ever since, I have started to see Daveyton as an undiscovered art covenant.

Fashion, Art and Music are members of one family. They coexists and make life seem like art itself. Mohlalart cherishes these three pillars of our cultural heritage and uses them to maintain and preserve the culture of Daveyton and surrounding communities.

Mohlalart is a documentary blog that embraces the sounds and colors that are scattered in the streets. Every month I, Nomampondomise Mokwena, will publish a feature that focuses on a particular subject that is orbiting the in the spaces of art and creativity. In doing so, I wish to create a platform for upcoming creatives and artists.
